The battery will only charge on the go if you have an Eclipse 5 but will only power the battery if you have an Eclipse 3 model.

Charging on a Wide Range of Settings

One of the greatest improvements of the SeQual Eclipse 5 from its predecessor the Eclipse 3, is the capability to not only power the concentrator but also charge its battery through the DC power supply.

When using any pulse flow settings the DC supply will charge the battery while also powering the machine. If you are a continuous flow patient, the Eclipse 5 will charge on a continuous setting of 2 LPM in the car but the DC supply will only power the concentrator on 3 LPM but won’t charge.

Multi-Vehicle Compatible

The DC power supply is capable of being used in most cars, trucks, SUV’s, R.V.’s, and boats. Whenever using the DC supply, always make sure that your vehicle is started and running.

Not running your car will lead to your car battery being drained causing your car not to start, and possibly leaving you stranded for unknown amounts of time.
