If your Oxlife Liberty 2 doesn't detect a breath for 45 seconds, the screen will turn amber, sound a 3-beep sequence and the text "No Breath" will flash on the screen.

If the Liberty 2 still doesn't detect a breath after an additional 15 seconds, the Liberty 2 will beep once and switch to continuous mode.
