Long-Lasting Battery Life
The SimplyGo Mini has two different battery options available:
- Single Battery
- Double Battery
The single battery is the lightest battery option and it provides you with up to 4.5 hours of use on a setting of 2. With the single battery installed your SimplyGo Mini will weigh 5 pounds. This setup is perfect for everyday use, running errands, exercising, and doing things around your home. It keeps your concentrator as light as possible and still gets great battery life.
The double battery adds a little more weight to your concentrator, however, it doubles your battery life! On a setting of 2, you can get up to 9 hours of use on a single charge. When the double battery is installed your SimplyGo Mini will weigh 6 pounds. This setup is perfect for traveling, extended trips away from your house, and everyday use!
Touch Screen Control Panel
As one of the more visually appealing portable oxygen concentrators on the market, the SimplyGo Mini is equipped with a unique touch screen display. But don’t let that intimidate you. You will be able to master the control panel very quickly!
To help you get the hang of using the touch screen display it is equipped with visual cues and big icons. With the tap of your finger, you will be able to turn your SimplyGo Mini on and off, change your flow rate, view your remaining battery life, and you can even check your machine’s alarm history.
One of the cool features that the touch screen display has to offer is the fact that you can check your battery life in real-time. From the home screen, you will see a simple battery with 4 bars as your battery gauge. This gives you a rough idea of how much battery life you have remaining:
- 4 Bars = 75%-100% battery life
- 3 Bars = 50%-74% battery life
- 2 Bars = 25%-49% battery life
- 1 Bar = 0%-24% battery life
However, you can tap the battery icon your SimplyGo Mini will pull up a new screen that shows you exactly how much battery life you have remaining based on your breathing rate.
Recharge Your Batteries Anywhere
Your Respironics SimplyGo Mini package will include an AC power supply for home use and a DC power supply for use on the go. As long as you have somewhere you can plug in your power supply, you will be able to recharge your batteries virtually anywhere!
The AC power supply is equipped with a 110v power cord, it plugs into any wall outlet. When your SimplyGo Mini is plugged into the AC power supply your battery will begin to recharge and your concentrator will run off of the electricity from your home.
Because the AC power supply is plugged into a wall outlet it will recharge your batteries faster than the DC power supply. Just keep in mind that if you are using your SimplyGo Mini at the same time you are recharging your battery it will take longer for your battery to achieve a full charge.
The DC power supply is equipped with a 12v power cord and it plugs into any cigarette lighter or 12v outlet allowing you to use it in your car, truck, RV, or boat! When your SimplyGo Mini is plugged into the DC power supply your battery will recharge and your concentrator will run off of the battery power from your vehicle.
The SimplyGo Mini is fully functional when plugged into the DC power supply meaning you can use all 5 pulse flow settings while you recharge your battery.
The SimplyGo Mini also has an optional external battery charger available. The external battery charger lets you recharge your batteries without plugging your concentrator in. It’s ideal if you have multiple batteries because you can always have one charging while you are out running errands.
