Wisp Nasal CPAP Mask with Headgear - Fit Pack

Respironics Wisp Nasal CPAP Mask with Headgear - Fit Pack

Many patients choose the Wisp Nasal Mask from Philips Respironics because it offers a choice of different frame styles to help meet your individual needs. You are able to select the Clear Silicone Frame for a more traditional feel or a Fabric Frame for a softer touch.

The Wisp will come packaged with three different sized cushions allowing the user to find the best fit and seal for them. Many people like the fact that there is no need for forehead support because of the innovative frame and headgear design the Wisp features.

The Wisp Nasal CPAP Mask by Philips Respironics was developed to fit a wide range of users while, at the same time, providing comfort and ease for those who use it.

The Wisp was the first mask to offer options in headgear materials and the design is lightweight and offers minimal facial contact.

Two Frame Options for Optimal Comfort

The unique frame of the Wisp is offered in two formats - Clear Silicone or Reversible Fabric. The clear silicone style is lightweight and flexible with smooth surfaces.

For a different feel, select the interchangeable and reversible fabric-covered frame, each side of the fabric frame has different material for different feels and skin types.

There are a few things you might want to consider when you are choosing a frame; The Clear and Fabric Frames are the same size and function. The only difference between the two is in the material.

The Clear Frame is easier to clean and maintain and may have a longer life. It can be soaked for cleaning. The Fabric Frame is lighter weight and more comfortable but may not be as durable. The Fabric Frame should be wiped clean, not soaked.

Minimal Contact Cushion in Multiple Sizes

The Wisp cushion is small and lightweight. The unique design offers minimal silicone that actually touches your face. There are three different sizes of cushions that are included with the Wisp, sizes Petite; Small / Medium and Large.

The mask comes packaged with the size Small/Medium cushion in place and can easily be changed with the Petite or Large cushion to customize your fit. The XL cushion is available as a separate item.

Respironics offers the following information to assist in selecting the correct size cushion for the Wisp. Measure from the outside of the nose from one side to the other. Do not measure only the nares or nasal openings, but the entire width of the nose.

  • P = Approx 1 1/8 in
  • S/M = Approx 1 1/2 in
  • L = Approx 1 7/8 in
  • XL = Approx 2 1/4 in

Non-Obstructive Design

The innovative design of the Wisp eliminates the need for a forehead support. Once in place, the Wisp provides strong support with a seamless seal.

People who enjoy watching TV or reading before going to sleep will appreciate the clear field of view and not having anything on their forehead.

Flexible Short Tube

The lightweight and flexible short tube included with the Wisp connects to the swivel elbow. It serves as the connection between the long hose and the cushion.

This design will allow patients for more freedom and mobility without losing their seal. The tube can be disconnected from the elbow for easy cleaning purposes and the short tube can be secured to the headgear by using the crown loop to keep the hose up and out of the way.
