ComfortGel Blue Replacement Cushion and SST Flap

ComfortGel Blue Replacement Cushion and SST Flap for ComfortGel Nasal CPAP Masks

The gel technology of the ComfortGel Blue Cushion will accommodate a variety of people. The cushion was designed to conform seamlessly around your nose and uses what’s called an “SST flap” to create a seal around the entire perimeter of the mask. The ComfortGel Blue Cushion can be used with facial hair.

The ComfortGel and ComfortGel Blue mask frames and cushions are all interchangeable, but the cushion and frame must be the same size. ComfrotGel Blue Cushion for the ComfortGel Nasal CPAP Mask will work with either mask. The same size silicone flap must be used to secure the gel cushion to the frame.

  • Large frame = Large cushion and flap
  • Small/Medium frame = Medium cushion and flap
  • Small/Medium frame = Small cushion and flap
  • Petite frame = Petite cushion and flap

NOTE: The size of the cushion is printed on the bottom, underneath the cushion of the body.

The size of the flap is printed on the base side of the flap along with the Resistance Control number. An example of the size is “S” meaning the replacement part is a size “Small”.

What is System One Resistance Control?

Respironics uses Resistance Control as a numbering system for all of the Respironics CPAP masks. The number is located next to the Size indication and is for use with your PR System One CPAP Machine (X1).

The Resistance Control is a unique technology Philips Respironics uses with their Sleep Therapy System, it works with Flex technology to ensure proper pressure compensation for different types of masks.

Each number instructs the device to accommodate the perfect amount of pressure for that particular mask.
